Say what? MJ, you can't just put something like that out there and not edify the audience...

When I was about eight or ten, I got it in my head that I'd crochet the World's Longest Crocheted Chain. I started, and eventually it stretched from my driveway pretty far into our cul-de-sac (we called it a "cove" in the south, but same deal.) Then, I thought to look it up and make sure no one else had ever had this same brainstorm...and of course, some old biddy in England had crocheted a chain that was like eight miles long or something.

Have you ever noticed it's always the Brits with that stuff??

I am the person responsible for the largest bouquet of flowers (well, until someone broke the record), created at the Missouri Botanical Garden in 1998. It was 26,801 stems, many of which were arranged by the green handed yours truly. I have photos to prove it, and a certificate bearing my name from the Guinness Book folks. It's my small claim to fame.
