confirmed last night on the drive home from the radio show:
Qdoba at S. Grand and Arsenal is open. Ay, chihuahua!

And if my sources are right they are converting the soon-to-close 24-hour laundromat in the Delmar Loop into another Qdoba branch.
Would you like some detergent as a palate cleanser?
[Posted by Tim Woodcock on Tue., Feb 10, 2004 at 10:29 PM]Is it kosher to support a chain restaurant like Qdoba willing to open in the city? On the one hand, I want to give my business to independents. And, more likely than not, the food is better. If I want a good taco, I go to El Bronco on Cherokee. On the other hand, I'm happy to see any business occupying a storefront on South Grand. The cycle of stores opening and closing on the street is depressing.

It wasn't half bad. It was expensive, but I only ate half my enormous burrito so I really paid for two meals.
C'mon! The place is run by the corporation which runs Jack-In-The-Box! Tim Boyle and the South Grand cronies continue to put more ho-hum, this-reaks-of-suburbia-crap on that side of the street.
There is so much tastier Mexican in St. Louis.
